Job Description:

As a Bookkeeper & Assistant Bookkeeper at Generika Drugstore, you will play a pivotal role in managing our financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and supporting our commitment to providing quality healthcare services. This position offers a unique opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Transactions: Perform and record various financial transactions, including but not limited to BIR (Bureau of Internal Revenue), SSS (Social Security System), PHIC (Philippine Health Insurance Corporation), and HDMF (Home Development Mutual Fund) transactions.
2. Training: While prior experience in these transactions is a plus, we welcome individuals who are willing to learn and grow. We are committed to providing training and development opportunities to help you excel in your role.
3. Tax Matters: Develop a strong understanding of tax-related matters and contribute to the efficient management of tax obligations. This includes compliance with tax laws and regulations and ensuring the accurate calculation of tax liabilities.
4. Mathematical Proficiency: Display a high level of proficiency in basic math computations to ensure that financial records and transactions are precise and free from errors.
5. Fieldwork: Engage in both office-based and fieldwork responsibilities, which may include visiting various Generika Drugstore locations to oversee and support financial transactions.

Qualifications:

• A passion for finance and a strong desire to learn and grow in the field.
• Excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure financial accuracy.
• Fast comprehension and adaptability to understand and work with tax matters.
• Basic mathematical skills to facilitate financial calculations and transactions.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with team members and branch personnel.
• Willingness to travel to various Generika Drugstore locations as needed.
