The Filipino HR Professionals Who Hold Workplaces Together
Honoring the people who lead with care — each one nominated by a colleague who saw it firsthand.
When a workplace feels human, someone built that.
Every company has a story it tells about itself. Culture, mission, values on a wall. But the people who decide whether any of that is true are almost always in HR.
They're the ones who notice the employee going quiet in meetings. Who fight for the raise that wasn't in the budget. Who hold a hard conversation with kindness instead of a script.
That work is mostly invisible. A great hire looks like luck. A team that stays looks like good fortune. A person who felt seen during the worst month of their life rarely says so out loud. HR carries the weight of a company's humanity and gets credit for almost none of it.
We think that's worth correcting.
No one nominates themselves. No one pays to be here.
Every professional featured was put forward by a colleague who took the time to write down what they witnessed and why it mattered. The nomination is the proof. We just tell the story well.
A colleague nominates
A teammate, a leader, or a former hire names someone whose care they saw firsthand — and says, in their own words, why it mattered.
We reach out and ask
We tell the nominee they've been recognized and ask permission. A few questions by email, or a short call — whatever's easiest for them.
We tell the story
Their words, lightly edited and always approved by them, become a feature their whole network sees. Nothing publishes without their okay.
The list is earned, not bought. That's the whole point.
Work communities are built by hand, by humans.
Zero-Ten has spent eight years building places where people do their best work — across the Philippines, Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, and the US. The truth we keep relearning is a simple one: a great workplace isn't furniture or perks or a clever dashboard. It's people who care for other people, on purpose, every day.
So we want to find the people who do that work, name them, and connect them to one another. If there's going to be a generation of Filipino workplaces worth belonging to, it'll be these people who build it. We'd just like to help them find each other.
